The painting 'The Kitchen' was made in 1948. Pablo Picasso just returned from a trip to Poland and some other countries. In his house in Paris he paints two versions of 'The Kitchen'. One of these -oils on linen-, dated 9/11/48. The original canvas measures 175x250 cm. It is part of the Picasso collection of the Museum of Modern Art of New York.This is the unique collection of Picasso carpets, rugs and tapestries. A very limited edition. Each piece is numbered and comes with its own certificate. Colour and form of a number of works from the famous master Pablo Picasso have been translated into rugs of the highest quality.
