PALACIO DE LAS VELETAS
Palacio de Las Veletas. También llamada "Casa de las veletas", está en la parte más alta de la ciudad de Cáceres. Está situada en la plaza del mismo nombre y conserva un antiquísimo Aljibe árabe. Fue levantada en el siglo XVI sobre lo que fue un alcázar árabe. Hoy día aloja un museo provincial que expone importantes restos prehistóricos, romanos y de otras antiguas épocas.

Palace of the Veletas.


Known also as the "House of the Veletas", it is situated at the highest part of the city of Cáceres. It is situated in the Plaza beraing the same name and where the ancient Arab Algibe. It was built in the XVI century over the ruins of the old Arab alcázar (palace). Today it houses the provincial museum which displays important findings dating as far back as the preromanic period and thereafter.
