Plaza trazada por Peña de Toro a espaldas de la Catedral cuya fachada es de un barroco áspero.
It was planned by Peña of Toro at the back of the Cathedral with a façade of an abrupt baroque.

La Puerta Santa, inspira algo especial, es también llamada puerta del Perdón, sólo se abre los Años Jubilares o Años Santos, data del año 1611 y en ella se representan 24 figuras sedentes esculpidas en granito; y a la izquierda la Puerta Real, de estilo renacentista enmarcada por columnas dóricas proyecto de Andrade. De noche, el mojón situado a la parte izquierda, al ser proyectado con el alumbrado de la calle, arroja la sombra de un peregrino
Plaza of the Quintana
The Holy Gate, inspires something special, and it is also called the Gate of the Pardon, which is only opened in Jacobean years or holy years. Dating from the 1,611, in it are represented 24 sitting figures of granite; at its left, the Royal Gate of Renacentist style marked by Doric columns as planned by Andrade. At night, the milestone situated at its left, when it is lighted by the street lights, projects the shadow of a pilgrim.
