Founded in the House of the Bulas at the Plaza of the Bulas ( in the Juderia Quarter), it has undergone several usages. Today it exhibits a wide memory dedicated to the world of the great bullfighters, picadors, and banderilleros that came from Córdoba.
In its archives, the museum maintains documents of the bullfighting world, as well as valuable graphic data.
In it, you can find the memory of "the four Cordobesian caliphs of Bullfighting": Rafael Molina "Lagarjito, Rafael Guerra "Guerrita", Rafael Gonzalez "Machaquito", and Manuel Rodriguez "Manolete". It also contains a hall dedicated to the rejoneador Antonio Cañero, a great library dedicated to the world of bullfighting and a great collection of posters.
Rafael Guerra Bejarano "Llaverito"
Here is his portrait, painted by Julio Romero de Torres. Since 1876, 14 years old when he participated as a banderillero of the cuadrillas (teams of bullfighters) of the "Gallo", "Bocanegra", and of the "Lagarjito, and of "Guerrita", who in 1887 provided him with the opportunity to bullfight in Madrids Plaza.
